It was great weekend of beaches, drinks & fun.
 
There were lots of friends, some from way back in the day, as well as a few new friend that will hopefully be coming back for a long time to come.

The recover effort was quite successful. It’s less esthetic and more of a functional cake now. It still tastes really good and thats the important part.

I’ve got some good news and some bad news.

I finally received a Star rating on ebay. Go, Augmented Compass!

It looks like the last purchase was a Travel Bug. That means more Geo-Caching real soon.

I’ve been refining my culinary craft over the past couple of weeks. I’m glad to say we’ve all been quite enjoying the end results.

I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Colour, presentation, perspective even the lighting, it’s surprising how much cooking has in common with photography. I’ve been amazed at the ability to make people like or dislike a meal by site, sounds and smell alone, without even tasting it.

There sure is something to be said for good presentation even when simply pouring liquor into a glass.
