Dad and I searched the Florida Everglades for alligators and boy, did we ever find them.

I’d almost say my favourite part was when we were riding back to base with the other canoers at the end of the day, listening to them talking about how they saw nothing the whole time they were out there and we kept our moths shut knowing that we had all this.

This has been my first vacation since Belize in 2006. We’re on the brink of my next trip coming up in 2 week so I thought it was a good time to show off the Florida photos.

It didn’t matter that the temperature was cold, Florida was still fantastic. Clearwater Florida is beautiful, Epcot was fun and the canoe trip through the everglades will stay with me for a life time. But I’ll save that story for the next post.

It turns out it is a small world after all. This is so something that could only happen to my mom. After meeting a complete stranger online and driving 3000 kilometres to meet her and rent the apartment in Florida. We find out she’s my mothers long lost cousin.
